How my journey began
Hi, I’m CJ and I’m a Life Coach.
Like a personal trainer, I’m here to get your mind in shape and push your limits. But even more than that — I want to help you grow into your best self.
In fact, it’s a promise I made myself years ago.
When I was a teenager, my father passed away. I had to quickly learn how to push through my fear, grief, and uncertainty. To keep going. My father instilled a “never give up” mentality, and I was determined to make him proud.
A few years later, I became the first college graduate in my family and applied for my master’s in Psychology. I wanted to understand why we do what we do. What makes us who we are. Why some people struggle while others thrive — despite their challenges. And during my studies, I began to pay more attention to what made me happy. I poured myself into health, fitness, philanthropy, travel, and love. I continued to grow.
But the hard times weren’t over. I had to keep pushing, and that grit got me through failed relationships, a lack of confidence, financial irresponsibility, moving solo across the country, and gut-wrenching career transitions. In less than a year, I went from working at a top-ranked radio show to driving for Uber. The fall was fast and hard.
And then, one day, it clicked.
My challenges, passions and skills have helped me thrive, rather than just exist. They’ve brought color and purpose to my life, and I wanted to share that feeling.
So, I created “Live Out Loud Colorfully.” Because I don’t fit into a conventional box — and neither do you. From my personal life to my many career paths, I believe we are always evolving. We are always discovering our true hue.
I’d love to help you take off your “I can’t” goggles so you can see your dreams clearly and take action toward the life you deserve!

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
Follow the journey.
